Renovate & re-purpose
Instead of tearing out damaged floors, they are renovated and recoated with ESD Colour Base and ESD Top Coat which meet all requirements for cleanrooms. It is also possible to convert floors that were previously not suitable for cleanrooms.
PARTICLE EMISSION
Dr. Schutz permanent coatings fulfil cleanroom class ISO 5
This has been confirmed by a test conducted by the Fraunhofer IPA. This means they can be used in areas such as the semiconductor industry, research, etc. Existing cleanroom floors can be re-furbished and non-cleanroom-classified floors can be converted.
OUTGASSING
Low outgassing for optimum cleanroom conditions
The Fraunhofer IPA has tested the outgassing behaviour of Dr. Schutz PU coatings and certified that they meet the ISO-ACCm Class <-6.7 and <-9.6. DISSIPATIVE CAPACITY
Safety for staff and machinery
ESD or cleanroom floors must be sufficiently conductive in certain areas such as the electrical industry, as otherwise over voltages can occur and pose a risk to sensitive machinery. Dr. Schutz ESD coatings ensure optimum conductivity, as tests at the eph Dresden, Cascade Metrology and GOD-MIN have confirmed. Floors that are no longer sufficiently conductive can also be renovated.
BIOLOGICAL RESISTANCE
Acts against germs and bacteria
Floors in cleanrooms must be resistant to germs such as viruses and bacteria. The eurofins Institute has tested Dr. Schutz permanent coatings and certified their biological resistance.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
Resistant to chemicals
Chemicals are used in many cleanroom areas, for example in the pharma sector. If the floor or floor coating is not resistant to chemicals, this can lead to damage and possibly even contamination of the cleanroom. The FIGR Institute has tested the chemical resistance of the PU Sealer and confirmed its suitability for cleanrooms.
